When clients tell me about their presenting issues and how they would like to feel, I often ask a simple question: "whats in between where you are right now and where you want to be?" Some of the common goals: "I want to sleep better", "I want to feel healthy", "I want peace of mind", "I want to feel motivated", "I want to stop procrastinating" (this is a very common one). The answer is often "I don't know whats in my way!", this is why Kinesiology is so powerful because we can dig deeper and understand what really is in your way and move it off your path!
There is one thing I know for sure about the "road blocks" in between how you are now and how you want to be and thats honesty with self. When I ask my clients the "what's in the way" and the answer is unclear it signals that this is an area where truth hasn't "shone it's light" and an area to explore. You may not be ready for the radical honesty that happens within a kinesiology session and that's ok! if you are feeling out of balance and not happy about an area of your life It does require some reflection and honesty to get an understanding & shift what may be holding you back. Try doing some deep breathing, clear your mind and do some journalling to explore why you're not happy and what needs some "honesty light" shone on the subject.
