Completely Complex but rather Simple

It's pretty clear to see that we are not bits and pieces, we are not just a digestive system, some legs, a brain, and a bit of common sense, we are complex beings whose biological complexity is not even yet understood completely, we feel emotions deeply, experience life uniquely, make choices with faith and courage, we have relationships with other complex beings and label these connections either successful or not without understanding where another is coming from. We have all come to this moment in our lives through a long string of events, our experiences have shaped us, our beliefs build our perception of this life and lets face it, we are all doing the best we can based on our current level of awareness. 

We all want the same things, love, acceptance, happiness and fulfilment. We want to experience a life so full and beautiful and enjoyable so we can get to the end and smile with contentment. Then why are we getting in our own way most of the time? 

We have been provided with the gift of consciousness, we can make choices, decisions and we think way too much most of the time! We are driven by basic motivations, to be loved, to be valued, to be accepted, to be cherished, we want and expect this from others but how can we really expect this if we aren't on good terms with ourselves? Our motivations drive our behaviour and this is where things get a bit more confusing! for example; we want to be loved by others, what do we do? we give & care for others so we get some back, we wear a mask always saying and doing what we think others want to hear so they will love us, we can try to control people and external events & situations to get love, we can dominate the other person demanding love, we can manipulate, we can submit to another and not speak our truth in fear of losing love, we can loose our identity in giving ourselves to another so we are more like them so they will love us. What we don't realise is, if we actually just loved ourselves fully right now just as we are and all the time, then we wouldn't be using all of these learned behaviours to feel it from others, we can feel it for ourselves because as souls we are all valuable, loveable, sacred and acceptable, with no exception.

Our repeated behaviours over time show up in the physical body. Take the example of being pleasing, overly giving & always considering how to care for another to be loved & cared for in return, these behaviours can show up in the body as:

Fatigue/Exhaustion no matter how well you sleep and how good your diet
Overweight, especially around stomach
Digestive disturbances (usually diarrhoea & bloating)
Overthinking
Sleep disturbance
Energy crash in the afternoon
Tired after meals
Sweet food cravings

Blood sugar issues
Bad breath
Lordosis (sway back, butt sticks out, head tilts forward)


This is a common case especially for women & mother's, putting others needs always before their own. This is a tiring way to live! Luckily the solution is simple, bring awareness to what is blocking your own self love. 

Love yourself fully, unconditionally and wholeheartedly! Let others love you for who you are and not for what you can do for them! It's scary to step into your own power but the reward well outweighs the risk!
