Kinesiology is the future.....
Why? The science behind kinesiology lies in understanding our neurology & the impact of stress. The intelligent neurology of our body isn’t contained within our brain rather the whole body meaning our brain is within our body. This is our never resting circuit of energy, always communicating, always influenced by what is happening in our conscious and subconscious awareness. By using muscle testing, we directly access this intelligent system to understand how, what and why stress is impacting you. Muscle testing identifies any break in the circuit (stress). The basic kinesiology muscle testing uses a yes or no answer, or a no circuit break or circuit break between the muscle and the brain, this is indicated by a lock or unlock of the muscle. So you are trying to get pregnant, you may have changed your lifestyle & diet, you have have even tried acupuncture, massage, herbs, supplements, whatever has any evidence of being beneficial to fertility! you may even be doing IVF by this stage, considering it as an option or tried it previously. You feel that you are doing everything right but not getting the result. You try your best not to get discouraged but the frustration doesn't go away, you ask yourself, why is it so hard for me to get pregnant? there are babies everywhere! You may have just heard of kinesiology through researching the net or a friend suggested it to you. Your first kinesiology session will go something like this: We go through your intake form which looks at everything about you from past treatments to stress levels, after discussing your situation we will get you on the massage table, we use muscle testing to identify where the main stress is coming from, this may be emotional blocks, mental, biochemical (hormone balance), energy blocks, specific anatomy including organs, glands, communication between body systems, vitamin and minerals, diet and lifestyle, this holistic and 100% personal approach allows us to understand some of the key aspects that are stopping you from becoming pregnant and investigate how to alleviate change this for you, leaving your body in a more balanced state than when you arrived and in a more balanced state to enable you to get pregnant.

How to get the most out of your Healing Journey

I recommend journalling after each session. Write down all the main information that came up and your experience of the session. This is a good way to track your changes as you go along with your own healing. I know for myself that reading back over session notes from years ago leaves me in awe of how far I have come and I believe you will have this experience also.

Each session I will give you a personal note with key aspects we worked on as well as some homework to keep the momentum of the session going and therefore give you greater impact from your personal investment. These little notes can be re-written in your own journal or glued in which is a nice way to add the energy of the session into your own record.

How to Prepare for a Kinesiology Session

  1. Intention - being clear about what you want to achieve is beneficial as it sets the tone for the session and allows a clearer outcome
  2. Hydrate - Being well hydrated will allow your body to be functioning better for clearer muscle testing. Be mindful of your alcohol and caffeine intake the 24 hours leading up to a balance
  3. Create space for self care - it's beneficial to have space to rest and reflect after a session, have your journal close by to take some notes on how you're feeling and what has come up during the session

What to Expect after a Session

Each experience is personal however it is common to feel very relaxed and sleepy after a session, this is your body integrating the balance, listening to your body helps, taking time to rest and drink lots of water will help. It is also common to feel an aggravation of symptoms a day or so after a session which is your body reacting to the “stirring up” of emotions, past stresses and shifting both mentally and physiologically, this change is a good sign as it means things have moved and balancing out to a new state which is more balanced. Imagine it like the messiness of a room being painted, it looks ok before hand just a few improvements to be made, the room gets very messy during the process of painting and once cleaned up the room looks newer and fresher, a job worth doing for the result!

Self-testing with Kinesiology is Trending with Good Reason

Why self muscle testing is trending...
Because its a personal tool for life, ask a question and get the answer via the wisdom of your body. Of course this is an exciting tool! Self muscle testing is amazing but has it’s limitations as our own mind can get in the way of a clear answer, i’m a trained kinesiologist and I know my own self testing can get varying results depending on the state of my mind, this is why seeing a skilled practitioner is the best way to understand the solutions to your problems, with a clear mind and intention we can understand together what it is that needs to be resolved for you to have the outcome you desire. The key for a life changing kinesiology session is within the quality of questions asked, ask the best questions will get the best results.

Understanding what's in your way

When clients tell me about their presenting issues and how they would like to feel, I often ask a simple question: "whats in between where you are right now and where you want to be?" Some of the common goals: "I want to sleep better", "I want to feel healthy", "I want peace of mind", "I want to feel motivated", "I want to stop procrastinating" (this is a very common one). The answer is often "I don't know whats in my way!", this is why Kinesiology is so powerful because we can dig deeper and understand what really is in your way and move it off your path!

There is one thing I know for sure about the "road blocks" in between how you are now and how you want to be and thats honesty with self. When I ask my clients the "what's in the way" and the answer is unclear it signals that this is an area where truth hasn't "shone it's light" and an area to explore. You may not be ready for the radical honesty that happens within a kinesiology session and that's ok! if you are feeling out of balance and not happy about an area of your life It does require some reflection and honesty to get an understanding & shift what may be holding you back. Try doing some deep breathing, clear your mind and do some journalling to explore why you're not happy and what needs some "honesty light" shone on the subject.
